Patches
Download a patch if you are experiencing problems with Stellaris. A patch is not a complete version of Stellaris but rather a modified (usually single) file that replaces the corresponding original file.

Applying the patch
Patch 1.21 is for Stellaris 1.20 only. It contains a single file named stellaris.exe. Replace the file in your Stellaris installation directory with the downloaded one. The about box will then show version 1.21.
